For the 2013 Boston Flower & Garden Show, Thomas Wheaton created a compact garden designed to be both lush and eco-friendly, employing reclaimed and recycled materials and a water-thrifty approach.
For the owners of this tidy Cape-style home, Thomas Wheaton designed a fenced-in area in the front yard which encloses a series of raised beds for growing herbs and vegetables.  Additional plantings around the new fence will, when mature, further enhance privacy and curb appeal.
For a cozy A-frame cottage on the eastern shore of the Sakonnet River, Thomas Wheaton designed a new 500+ SF patio composed of manufactured pavers specially coated to resist erosion from salt spray. In contrast to the tiny, older patio it replaced, the new and expanded outdoor space has ample room for dining, sunning and lounging while enjoying glorious sunsets and tranquil, breezy evenings.
